Happy New Year!

 

Do you make resolutions or do you pick a word for the year?

 

I picked the word FOCUS. Why? Because I want to . . .

  • adjust my vision to see clearly

 

This year I want to be in the moment and be grateful, even for the little things—like this mug.

This cup makes me think of—

1. My husband, who makes fresh coffee every morning.

2. Coffee with almond vanilla creamer! Yum.

3. Friends. This mug was given as a gift.

4. Vacation. I dream of going to Hawaii, and dreams are good. 🙂

 

Philippians 4:8-9 says,

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”

    My word for the year is LOVE. Romans 8:35

    “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” Romans 8:35
