Upon arriving at the upscale hotel, Megan meets a handsome stranger with a crazy plan that would help her forget about her ex-boyfriend’s wedding and keep her savings intact.
Veterinarian Lucas Hunter is preparing himself for the ribbing Grandma Ruby will give him when he shows up for her eightieth birthday celebration in Monterey without a woman by his side. When he overhears a conversation and discovers a beautiful woman is available, he goes on a limb and asks Megan to pretend to be his girlfriend for the week in exchange for paying her hotel bill. After all, it would make his grandmother happy.
