Do you enjoy reading?

I do. I love to curl up with a good book and get lost in its pages. I also love to write a story that captures my heart. Right now I’m at the tail end writing a novel and can’t wait to find out how it ends. Okay, I know how I want it to end, but sometimes the characters have minds of their own.

Do you enjoy writing?

This weekend I’m teaching a workshop at the Christian Writer’s Seminar in Castro Valley. I’ll be speaking about writing women’s fiction, a topic I’m passionate about. This year, I’ll be talking about The Heart Stone, my newest release, as well as books from other published authors in this genre. Each book has a unique hook and intriguing characters. Come to my workshop to hear excerpts and discover what is being published today!

Here’s the list:

When the Morning Glory Blooms by Cynthia Rucchti

The Sheep Walker’s Daughter by Sydney Avey

The Face of the Earth by Deborah Raney

Welcome to Last Chance by Cathleen Armstrong

Invisible by Ginny Yttrup

Laughing with Lily by Eileen Hinkle Rife

The Path to Piney Meadows by Gail Sattler

On the Threshold by Sherrie Ashcraft and Christina Berry Tarabochia

If you’ve always been interested in writing, please consider coming to the Christian Writer’s Seminar. Here’s what one attendee had to say:

If you want to improve your writing skills or are just getting started, this is the perfect place. ~ Sandi Olson

I hope to see some of you there!

Do you love to read fiction? What is the last book you’ve read?
